Conceived in the midst of a simple brake job gone bad, the inventor of the Lampstand ran out of daylight before finishing his repairs.

Battling to position his flashlight at the proper angle and needing both hands to re-assembly the brake components, the conceptual foundation for the Jirah Lampstand was already being laid . a holder for a full sized flashlight that will provide a stable base, yet is completely adjustable, offering .hands free. operation for any job.

Development was begun. Month after month; prototype after prototype; test after test until the Lampstand became everything it is today . that rare blend of simplicity and functionality.

Many have asked, "What is a JIRAH" (pronounced like gyroscope). The better question would be not what, but WHO!

The word Jirah first appears in the Hebrew Old Testament (Genesis 22:14). There, Abraham is asked to sacrifice his son, Isaac.

Isaac, unaware of his role in this scenario, questions Abraham saying, "Father, we have the wood and we have the fire, but where is the Lamb for the sacrifice?" Abraham said that God would provide Himself for a sacrifice and he named that place Jehovah Jirah — translation: "God will provide." And He did!
